Allergy Testing
If your body is reacting badly to a food or you suspect you may have an allergy, you could benefit from an allergy test
Allergies are now very common with the NHS estimating almost a quarter of people in the UK suffer from an allergy at some point in their lives.
In most cases, allergies are mild and easily managed. However, they can often affect your everyday life enough to be a persistent nuisance.
Who does Allergy Testing help?
If you suspect you have an allergy to a particular substance or food or if you’re experiencing allergy-like symptoms, then it may be worth getting tested.
A range of allergy testing and diagnostic testing is available in conjunction with Genova Diagnostic Laboratory. This testing brings science and holistic medicine together to provide you with a programme of healing.
Tests available include digestive for parasites, candida, enzyme deficiency and leaky gut, allergy and intolerance testing, adrenal, thyroid and male and female hormone profiles, hair analyses for heavy metal overload, nutrient status and many more.
What can I expect
In your first session, your therapist will discuss with your symptoms and ask you about your body, health and family history. Together, you’ll look at what may be causing symptoms and choose the appropriate course of action and range of tests to discover or confirm possible allergies.
Once the tests have been concluded and results confirmed, your therapist will develop a plan for getting back to health.
